Remember the fallen

If there is any great secret of success in life, it lies in the ability to put yourself in the other person’s place and to see things from his point of view-as well as your own.
— Henry Ford

On the 10th Anniversary of 9/11 I’d urge you to summon every bit of focus you can gather and read Steven M. Walt’s post on from beginning to end.  I know reading something on “” sounds long and boring, but it’s not.  The post is a relatively short, but damning, look at “why they hate us”.  If you aren’t willing to read the post then at least absorb this quote: “If the United States wants to improve its image in the Islamic world, it should stop killing Muslims.”

Hat tip to @ReallyVirtual on Twitter for posting the article.
